Procedures for Use

Boat allocation 

• Each program is allocated a specific boat or boats from Head Coach and Rowing Committee
• Ensure that your program or crew uses only the boat and oars assigned

Fill out Log book before and after row

Reporting damage

• Note in log book
• Send an email to Head Coach & Captain
• Leave note outside office

 

Equipment Care

Your boat is like your car: It will go fast if it is in a good condition.

Before the row - on the docks (5min)

1. Check your riggers to ensure all bolts and nuts are tight. They are all in place.
2. Check the position of your footstops (shoes), please adjust if needed and make sure they are even between left and right side.
3. Check that your seat and your oarlock is working properly
4. Coxie - check that the rudder is working and the fin is tight and true

After the Row

1. Check that the boat is properly sitting on the rack
2. Wipe the boat down with towels
3. Make sure that all nuts and bolts are in place
4. Report any damage or repairs if needed
5. Coxie – check that the rudder is working and the fin is tight and true
